so you have chosen to die alone,
\ngrieved intensely,
\nby those who watched your pain grow and consume your life.<\/p>\n
While your life lies fallow – your dreams die before they were born!<\/p>\n
Your art and music find no fulfillment, for they have no support!<\/p>\n
Your ancestors died of broken hearts<\/p>\n
Their stories go untold or distorted<\/p>\n
Their sacrifices fall like dead seed on frozen ground!<\/p>\n
Their dreams for you now float with your dreams,
\nunattached in the Universe.<\/p>\n
Your ancestors grieve for you
\nas you grow old
\nand alone
\nand grieve for them!!!!!!<\/p>\n
You understand – in that old age – their pain and suffering
\nYou break the Veil calling to them your sorrow and regret!<\/p>\n
They can hear you,
\nbut you can neither hear nor see them!<\/p>\n
As light dims, you feel the pull and confusion of departing<\/p>\n
Love given and not returned
\nPromises broken – talents undeveloped – understanding sharpening – wisdom overgrown<\/p>\n
Are they waiting?
\nDo they hear?
\nDo they still care?
\nWill they be there at the end?<\/p>\n
