\nA visit to the Dali Restaurant is appropriate both for a romantic evening for two or a lovely night for a group. \u00a0Small private tables within their own compartments and larger tables in open areas make this possible. \u00a0The detailed decor is a feast for the eyes\u00a0(picture\u00a0yourself inside one of Salvador Dali’s paintings). \u00a0<\/span>

\n<\/span>
\nEither way,\u00a0prepare yourself for a festival of flavors. \u00a0You can find traditional\u00a0Spanish dishes such as paella, a rich rice stew seasoned with saffron\u00a0into which might be mixed a wide range of vegetables, sausage,\u00a0chicken, meat, and seafood (the possibilities are endless; I have\u00a0three cookbooks on my shelf containing \u00a0 nothing but paella recipes).<\/span><\/p>\n

The real specialty of the restaurant is the numerous tapas, small\u00a0plates, that enable the diner to sample many different dishes to make\u00a0a meal. \u00a0Each member of your party should start with three or so, but\u00a0it’s not likely that you’ll stop there. \u00a0Perhaps some thinly sliced\u00a0serrano ham, the finest in the world, and some marinated olives to\u00a0whet your appetite. \u00a0If you’re more adventurous, perhaps some octopus\u00a0vinagrette. \u00a0The wonderful thing about tapas is that you can stick\u00a0mostly with your favorites, or be just a little adventurous, or maybe\u00a0a lot. \u00a0Never had stuffed squid in its own ink or pheasant or quail\u00a0or rabbit or venison? \u00a0Try them all in a single dining experience,\u00a0each in a regional Spanish preparation. \u00a0My personal favorites are\u00a0braised rabbit in a red wine, juniper, and garlic sauce, and venison\u00a0sausage in pomegranate sauce, but the tapas menu changes monthly, so
\nthere’s almost always something new to try, even after repeated\u00a0visits. \u00a0<\/span>

\n<\/span>
\nThe Dali Restaurant features a delicious, all Spanish wine\u00a0list, many at surprisingly affordable prices, to accompany your meal,\u00a0but perhaps you’ll want to try their home-made sangria, which has\u00a0little in common with the prepackaged products that you can find in\u00a0your local wine store. \u00a0<\/span>

\nThe staff are very attentive and efficient;\u00a0they’ve always been anxious to make my visit an evening to\u00a0remember. \u00a0The Dali Restaurant is to be recommended both for an\u00a0intimate evening for two or a party for multitudes.
