An entire world is being subject to gaslighting. The expert and top dog at the sport is Donald J. Trump. He is followed only by Elon Musk. I would put Musk first, but he didn’t have what it was to run for and become president. Instead he has taken the backseat, but not backstage positioning allowed to him by Donald J. Trump.
This is the second time around that Trump has shown off his gaslighting ability to the whole world and it is a spectacular talent.
The American stock market is the latest subject. He has gone about his job with talk, talk and more talk. None of it clear. None of it true. None of it particular to the stock market in America and – incidently – actually affected world wide stock markets. Now that is a first class gaslighter.
Elon Musk’s gas lighting ability and use of – or should I say abuse of – his talents has made me back away from wanting to become the world’s wealthiest woman or man. Maybe I should rather say the world’s wealthiest person.
Unfortunately, Donald Trump’s gaslighting has cost most of us tens – no – hundreds of thousands of dollars that we worked hard to acquire, save, invest. Those facts, however, never touch a gaslighters conscience. He/she just continues to gas light.
We wonder – just an aside – if Donald Trump’s big emphasis on fighting bigotry against Jews comes from his guilt from the way he treated his mentor – Roy Cohn.
We used to work hard to bring about change for the betterment of humanity. We don’t anymore. We understand human beings better than we did at a much younger age. The best of us can turn into the worst of us in seconds and continue on the most despicable way to live and relate you have ever encountered.
The laziest way to do that is through gaslighting and then stepping aside to enjoy the results of one’s talent. Even lazier is to combine gaslighting with lying. Now that should bring down empires.
God help me to remain centered in all that I do with my eyes, ears, heart tuned to your word and my deeds reflective of your plan for my life. It is really hard to do that, but I will keep trying.
