It was not a surprise that Donald Trump turned to Cuomo from New York to attempt to gain control over New York and other places during this election just finished.
Mamdani does not have even a hint of the sexual criminality which surrounds many, if not most, in Trump’s circle of political “bros”.
If you remember, Cuomo resigned his post in New York because he was being surrounded by accusations of sexual deviancy. The same atmosphere surrounding Trump pre-his election and many of those he has appointed to high levels in his government.
It is clear those so appointed have brought the moral reputation of the United States and those working in important places, either elected by U. S. citizens or appointed by Trump down into the gutter.
None of us are perfect, but looking at the fact that we have a president of these United States whose best friend for a decade or more was Epstein. Surrounding him were those who carried the whiff of being “blackmailed” to do Epstein and/or his friends’ wants and needs even to the point of violating children.
We are a country which has and is falling deeper into sexism, racism and so much more. That sexism has allowed many U. S. voters to ignore what is public about Donald Trump’s reputation and to ignore hiss own words when they were broadcast from a van via a loud speaker . To make sure you understood it really was Donald Trump talking so horribly about women, the film with his words showed Donald Trump leaving the van and totally patronizing sexually a white woman who came up to the van.
That is only one time and place where Trump’s words and deeds, dripping in heavy racism, sexism anti-LGBTQ content and so much more evil have been made public. No one – probably in the world- can say they do not know this side of Donald Trump.
How awful that a country in which so many gave their lives, futures, careers in the fight for equality and against everything Trump stands for now sees the country moving towards evil and away from goodness..
It looks as though he has even cowed the U. S. Supreme Court taking it back into the late 1800’s when it interpreted the U. S. Constitution to say racism was legal in the case which held sway until Brown vs the Board of Education happened and started moving this country onto the path of goodness, righteousness and away from the evil of what went before. The United States Supreme Court’s ruling back to those days that separate and unequal should remain the law of the land is very much alive and thriving amongst many in this current Supreme Court – especially those appointed as justices by Donald Trump..
We don’t know how to pray over this Dear God! It is unbelievably foul and violates all of your laws. Slavery was the law of the land for a few hundred years and today the remains of those laws , instead of being wiped out with your grace, goodness and love shining through, we see them and those who espouse such bringing them back and held up to be used by those in the current political system of the United States with its president out front leading the charge and the fight against your laws and your ways. This is being done not to bring about your kingdom, but for the personal aggrandizement and to line the pockets of Donald Trump,s his family, his friends and so many more who follow his path and copy trying to bring about his ways and the evils of his administration.
How long, O Lord do we live under such rule – how long do we ignore the fact that we brought this about – how long before your love, your kingdom, your will, your goodness breaks through.???
